PONSONBY – The Ponsonby Jr. Sting workforce travelled to Tara to take part within the Ontario Beginner Softball Affiliation Provincial U13 Event the weekend of Aug. 11 to 13. Ponsonby received its first recreation versus the Elma Avengers 13-4. The workforce then misplaced 7-6 to the Napanee Categorical, received recreation three 19-3 and misplaced the quarterfinal recreation of the ‘B’ Division versus Elma (a rematch of recreation one). Crew officers say Ponsonby ended the weekend with a report of 2-2 and performed nicely in opposition to a few of the greatest groups within the province.
