GUELPH — On Aug. 10 to 13, Tony Molesworth shall be returning for an additional three-day-run within the Guelph Fringe Competition. This time he’s returning with a brand new CD and one-man present titled “A Mystic’s Journey.”
His earlier finge present “Banjoker” was awarded “Funniest Present” within the Nanaimo Fringe Competition in 2019. He each wrote and carried out that one. The perimeter artist was additionally the emcee of Guelph’s Banjofest.
Molesworth is happy to launch this 2023 recording which he says, “fuses spirit-driven lyrics with minor modal melodies and bluesy grass banjo pickin.’”
He describes this 12 months’s fringe pageant present as: “A humourous story spinning spoken phrase, metaphysical musings, one-liners and pro-fun-ditties of hippy knowledge woven between rootsy-deep folks tunes. It’s enlighten-tainment for the magically-inclined.”
A comedy membership headliner for many years, he has toured North America and Europe sharing the stage with a whole bunch of stars together with Jim Carrey, Howie Mandel, John Sweet, Rick Moranis, Russell Peters, Jerry Lewis, and has opened for music legends Bizarre Al Yankovich, U2, John Mayall, and Elvis Costello.
Molesworth has been offered in lots of universities, live performance halls and theatres as nicely.
If you’re interested by seeing Molesworth’s present, he shall be on the Crimson Brick Cafe situated at 8 Douglas St. in Guelph. Performances are Aug. 10 at 9:30pm, Aug. 12 at 8pm and Aug. 13 at 1pm. All performances are about an hour lengthy.
