CENTRE WELLINGTON — After a busy week of dancing round city, 14 Blue Bonnet Lassies Faculty of Highland Dance college students attended the Fergus Scottish Pageant on Aug. 12 and 13.
Saturday
On the Saturday Highland Competitors within the Main 6 years class, Brianna Earle positioned fifth in Pas de Basques and Excessive cuts, sixth in Sword Dance, and eighth in Fling.
Within the Newbie 9 years class, Scarlett Jackson positioned fifth in Seann Truibhas and eighth in Fling.
Within the Newbie 10 years class, Maribelle McBroom positioned fourth in Seann Truibhas, and Cayley Simpson positioned fifth in Seann Truibhas and sixth in Fling.
For the Newbie 11 and beneath 13 years class Brooke Bailey positioned sixth in Fling and Sword. Within the Intermediate 14 years, Ainsley Stewart positioned third in Strathspey & Reel of Tulloch, fourth in Fling and Sword, and fifth in Seann Truibhas; and Eila Gillies positioned third in Fling and second in Strathspey & Reel of Tulloch.
Within the Intermediate 17 years and over class, Avaline Sales space positioned first in Sword, fifth in Seann Truibhas, Ashley Elliott positioned third in Seann Truibhas, and fifth in Fling.

Within the Newbie 8 years, Harlyn Heathers positioned third in Strathspey & Highland Reel, and sixth in Flora and Lilt.
Within the Newbie 9 years class, Scarlett Jackson positioned third in Strathspey & Highland Reel, third in Lilt, and seventh in Flora; and Hadley Heathers positioned seventh in Lilt and eighth in Flora.
Within the Newbie 10 and beneath 12 years Cayley Simpson positioned third in Strathspey & Highland Reel and fifth in Lilt, and Maribell McBroom positioned sixth in Lilt and Flora.
Within the Newbie 12 and beneath 14 years class Brooke Bailey positioned second in Strathspey & Highland Reel, and third in Flora.
Within the Intermediate 14 years, Ainsley Stewart positioned second in Flora and sixth in Lilt; and Eila Gillies positioned sixth in Irish Jig.
Within the Intermediate 17 years and over class Avaline Sales space positioned fifth in Irish Jig, and Ashley Elliott positioned first in Irish Jig, and second in Lilt and Flora incomes her the general trophy for having the very best mixture factors in her group.
Within the Premier class, Emma Horsley positioned sixth in Village Maid and Flora.
Sunday nationwide competitors — Cayley Simson, Emma Horsley, Violet Earle, Ashley Elliott, Harlyn Heathers, Avaline Sales space, Eila Gillies, Scarlett Jackson, Brooke Bailey, Gabby Jackson, Hadley Heathers, Aisnley Stewart and Maribell McBroom participated within the nationwide highland competitors on the Fergus Scottish Pageant on Aug. 13.
